The history of the use of pine needles for its healing purposes can be traced back to early native American civilizations in north America.  Native Americans used pine needles to brew tea for the sick.  They also used the pine needle’s healing properties for rashes, infections, and other skin problems.  Since then, many societies have adopted the use of pine needles medicinally as an ailment for sickness and skin complications.  While most of these remedies are cultivated from the white pine needle, our product is specifically processed from the ponderosa pine.  The ponderosa pine is primarily used to treat skin complications and is what sets our product apart from products created from the white pine tree.
